Customize colors and contrast for your visual needs.
High Contrast Mode
For better visibility:
1. Profile > Settings > Accessibility
2. Enable "High Contrast"
3. App colors become more distinct
What Changes
High contrast mode:
- Darkens dark colors
- Lightens light colors
- Increases border visibility
- Enhances text contrast
Device Color Filters
For color vision deficiencies, use device settings:
iOS:
Settings > Accessibility > Display > Color Filters
Android:
Settings > Accessibility > Color correction
These apply to all apps including RiseWell.
Dark Mode
Dark mode can help:
- Light sensitivity
- Evening use
- Battery saving (OLED screens)
Enable in Profile > Settings > Appearance or follow device setting.
Avoiding Color-Only Information
We don't rely solely on color to convey information:
- Icons and text supplement color coding
- Charts have patterns, not just colors
- Status indicators use multiple cues
