Account Locked Out

Too many failed attempts

Locked out after too many login attempts? Here's what to do.

Why Accounts Lock

For security, accounts temporarily lock after:

  • 5 failed password attempts
  • Suspicious login patterns
  • Security concerns

How Long the Lock Lasts

Standard lock: 15 minutes

Wait it out, then try again with correct credentials.

Can't Wait?

Reset your password:

1. Use "Forgot Password"

2. Create new password

3. This unlocks the account

Unlock via Email

Sometimes we send an unlock email:

1. Check your inbox

2. Click unlock link

3. Proceed to login

If Lock Persists

Contact support if:

  • Lock lasts more than 30 minutes
  • You can't receive reset emails
  • You suspect unauthorized access

Preventing Lockouts

  • Use password manager for accuracy
  • Enable biometric login (Face ID, fingerprint)
  • Write down password in secure location

Security Review

If you're locked out and didn't cause it:

  • Someone may be trying to access your account
  • Reset password immediately
  • Enable two-factor authentication
  • Review account for changes
