Fitbit not syncing with RiseWell? Try these fixes.
Check Fitbit Sync
First, ensure Fitbit itself is syncing:
1. Open Fitbit app
2. Pull down to sync device
3. Wait for sync complete
RiseWell gets data from Fitbit servers, not directly from your device.
Re-Authorize Connection
1. RiseWell > Profile > Connected Apps
2. Tap Fitbit > Disconnect
3. Reconnect and re-authorize
4. Wait for initial sync
Fitbit Account Status
Check that:
- Fitbit account is active
- You can log into Fitbit.com
- Fitbit app shows recent data
Data Delay
Fitbit data can take time:
- Sync Fitbit device to Fitbit app first
- Wait 15-30 minutes
- Check RiseWell again
Specific Data Not Syncing
Sleep: Must complete in Fitbit before syncing
Workouts: Exercise must be logged/tracked
Steps: Should sync if any data is syncing
Connection Revoked
Sometimes Fitbit connections expire:
- Check connected apps in Fitbit app
- Look for RiseWell
- Re-authorize if missing
Fitbit Outages
Occasionally Fitbit has server issues:
- Check status.fitbit.com
- Wait and try later if there's an outage
